So that your ONear 500 smartphone and earphones are able to automatically recognise and connect once near each other, you will need to follow a few steps in order to pair them together.

To pair your ONear 500 earphones to your mobile phone, please do as follows:
1. Switch on your earphones by holding down the play button for 5 seconds. The light on the right earphone will flash blue.
2. Go into your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings and activate Bluetooth. The device “ONEAR 500” will appear in the list of nearby Bluetooth devices. Select “ONEAR 500”.
3. You will see "connected" or "yes" displayed next to the ONEAR 500 text and the earphone light will be green. Your earphones are now paired with your smartphone and ready to use. Play your music in your usual music app.

When you next use your equipment, there’s no need to re-pair your earphones, as they will automatically be detected by your phone. You should activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone before you switch on your earphones.

Possible reasons why ONEAR 500 may not appear in your devices list:

If the light on the right earphone goes green as soon as you switch it on: this means that your earphones are connected to a different phone. Should this happen, you will need to turn off Bluetooth on your other phones and/or tablets.

If ONEAR 500 does not appear in the list of nearby devices when the light on the right earphone is flashing blue: you are advised to delete the Bluetooth devices you’re not using, and exit the Bluetooth menu before going back in.
