Split exercising is a type of running exercise that involves alternating rapid phases with slower recovery phases in the same session.With this training, you’ll improve your speed, including during your endurance sessions.
These sessions are offered by Philippe Propage (international trainer and Kalenji coach), via the vocal coaching on the DECATHLON COACH app.
Download the DECATHLON COACH app and create an account.
Click on the menu (vertical bars at the top left of your screen) and select COACHING.
Once in the COACHING section, you will find two zones:
- Training programmes (PROGRAMMES)
- Advice relating to the objective you have chosen (ADVICE).
Choose the CREATE MY OWN SPLIT EXERCISE category here.
You have the option to start pre-recorded exercises: 5 beginner/intermediate and 4 advanced.To follow these exercises, you simply select the one you want and OFF YOU GO!
You can also create your own split session(s) as you wish.
You set the warm-up (in time or distance), the split (action, rest, repetitions) and recovery (in time or distance).
Save it if it’s what you want and OFF YOU GO!
