The 4-interval timer can be used for personalising a training session by dividing up your exercise into 4 periods.
Period 1 = WARM UP: warming up
Period 2 = RUN: time of acceleration/rapid or intense exercise
Period 3 = REST: time of deceleration/slow or restful exercise
Period 4 = COOL: time at the end of the session/stretching
